Beautiful Campground in Southport. RV camping only.
Steve - the owner is wonderful. I've been coming up to Grays for years. It has its own private beach and is the perfect mix between seclusion and Boothbay Harbor town access.
What a beautiful campground with some spots right on the ocean front. Well maintained and reasonably priced for this area in Maine. And the views are just wonderful. We have stayed there many times before, but they book up fast, especially during the holidays.
Nice beach and pier. Campsites are more crowded and perched than we're used to and privacy is limited. Very popular and with it comes many rules, which no doubt they've added as required over the many years. Lots of seasonal campers, who are friendly.
The owner was rude and lied about the sight . I brought my family there with the camper. It would not fit. He said oh well. He would not work with us or give us a refund. He was very rude. Talk down to us like we were stupid. Only if he knew what I did for work. We drove all day to get there we were tired . He was no help. Thank god for shore hills . They helped us out and gave us a discount after hearing what gray put us through. Gray homestead is not what they say.
